Women’s Rimefield Air Fleece Jacket

Description

An open-knit, high-loft fleece with a surprising amount of air in it, the Rimefield is built for continuous movement in cold weather. Its lofted fibers trap heat when you stop, but the open structure lets moisture move out much faster than a traditional fleece, so you can leave it on during a steep climb.

The women’s pattern is fitted through the waist with a longer back hem and slim sleeves that fit under a shell. A light, wind-permeable woven face on the outside protects the loft from snagging. Two zippered hand pockets, stretch-bound cuffs and a stand collar keep things simple. It weighs 250 g (8.8 oz).

Wear it over a base layer on cold ski tours, or under a hardshell on stormy approaches. Wash in a mesh bag on cold and line dry. Shown in soft lavender with a plum zipper.
