Description
Hybrid construction lets one garment behave like two. Across the chest, shoulders and arms, the Talus has a wind-resistant, lightly insulated panel made from recycled nylon filled with 60 g/m² breathable synthetic fill, while the sides, underarms and back are a stretch grid fleece that sheds heat and moves freely. Shown in copper with black stretch panels.
The result is a midlayer that blocks cold wind on ridgelines but will not boil you on a skin track or a steep approach. There is no hood, keeping it low-profile under a shell hood. Two hand pockets and a chest pocket use low-profile zips placed above harness height. It weighs 310 g (10.9 oz).
Machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Slateford will repair torn fleece panels and failed zips for the life of the garment.
